Evelyn Lozada definitely had an unforgettable Christmas. The reality star has a Christmas Eve engagement as beau Carl Crawford proposed with a 14.5 carat diamond engagement ring. The ‘Basketball Wives’ star posted a photo of her huge diamond ring with a caption “YES! Thank u so much @jasonofbh for this BEAUTIFUL DESIGN!!!! #HappiestGirlInTheWorld“
The beautiful ring was designed by celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. It has a stunning 10-carat emerald cut center diamond further adorned by brilliant accent diamond border. With a total 14.5 carats, the ring is valued at $1.4 million.
Now that’s called a surprise. Los Angeles Dodgers star Carl Crawford knows how to make it special. According to Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, “Carl was determined to get the ring of Evelyn’s dreams”. He told that they arranged for white glove delivery to Carls home in Arizona the day before Christmas. Carl wanted an over the top diamond ring that would light up both the Christmas tree and his future bride to be.
The happy future bride did not reveal how Carl proposed her.
Evelyn, who is due in March, announced in early December that she is pregnant with Carl’s baby. In the same interview with OMG! Insider, she also sharedher views about getting married for the second time, ” I definitely would get married again.” She added, “I’m not one of those people that’s like ‘we need to get engaged, we need to get married.’ No, absolutely not. I feel like that’s going to come, just like with the baby, let it come. I’m not forcing anything, so if it happens, it happens.”
The reality star was previously married to NFL player Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson for about a month in 2012. They split after the player was arrested on domestic violence charge in August and finalized the divorce in September 2012.
The pregnant bride-to-be already has a 20-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
