We all know that Drew Barrymore finally got married to her art consultant beau Will Kopelman recently. However, we are still waiting for more details of her dress and jewelry. But we can spot the sparkle of her diamond studs in a picture where we see her kissing her new husband. Reports say that the couple drove off in a classic Mercedes after their wedding on Saturday to spend their wedding night at the nearby San Ysidro Ranch.
The love birds exchanged vows at the California estate of Barrymore. The bride who is also expecting her first child wore a Chanel white coat over her custom Chanel wedding gown. She had her hair pinned up with gardenias. After the ceremony as the couple drove off, we could see that they were very much in love as Barrymore seemed happy and content as she rested her head on her husband’s shoulder.
An insider tipped us that the wedding ceremony started in the evening around 6:30 PM and was performed by the family rabbi of Kopelman. Another source told us that they have agreed upon using special hand dyed fabrics for the ceremony as Barrymore wanted to make her wedding very special! The ceremony lasted 45 minutes and included a reading of EE Cummings poem “I Carry Your Heart with Me”. As per Jewish traditions, Kopelman broke the glass and everyone said, “Mazel Tov”. It is a phrase for congratulating the couple and wishing them a happy future life together.
It was a small garden wedding that was attended by some celebrity guests as expected. The list included Cameron Diaz, another expectant mom Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth, The Avengers star Scarlett Johansson, the Oscar winning Director Steven Speilberg, Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy Juvonen.
We wish the couple all the best and hope that the two radiate like the colorless radiant-cut diamond engagement ring of Barrymore. This ring weighs a little less than 4 carats and has a diamond studded band.
It is Barrymore’s third trip down the aisle but her friends are saying that finally she is looking forward to settling down with Kopelman and her first child. Many of her friends said that she had been telling them that she is finally ready for a quieter, more family-oriented life.
